Changing perspective
betoniq. was created in 2024 as a student project at the Brno University of Technology. We wanted to show that concrete does not have to be a cold symbol of brutalism. We give it a new life – it becomes decoration, art and a functional element that gives a space its own personality. From the first experiments using the “trial and error” method through the production of our own molds to the first collection: people began to perceive concrete as a medium for creativity and self-expression.
Craft is a process
From sketches and 3D models, through mold making and casting, to sanding, sealing and installation. We test compounds, colors and edges to ensure the result is both robust and delicate.
